Mitzvah Party

Mitzvah Party is a custom-fit program designed to offer a group of volunteers (friends, student groups, business cohorts) a chance to have a hands-on-experience repairing area houses. The group works with Yachad to create a project that will fit the group's time, expertise and budget.

Sukkot in Spring Home Repair

Sukkot in Spring Home Repair is Yachad's signature program. Since 1992 hundreds of single-family homes have been repaired. Yachad recruits area synagogues and other Jewish groups to tackle serious home repairs for lower-income families in our greater community, many of whom are elderly or disabled.

We the People Day of Service

We the People is a free program, open to individuals, families and groups. Every federal holiday Yachad sponsors the repair of a single family home, community center, or group house in Washington, DC.
